    I’m looking for an online diet buddy over the holidays to help keep me on track. Reporting to my buddy would help me to stay accountable for my choices. Anyone interested in joining me?

    I’m in during the new year if anyone else is! I’m too busy over the holidays (terrible excuse, but there it is), but I do want to get things cleaned up in the new year.  Anyone still be in then?

    I’m going to get the ball rolling. I’ve purchased vegetables and good quality proteins and this week, I intend to cook my own meals nearly every day, particularly on the weekend. I will cook double the amount I need so I can freeze the rest. That way, on days that I don’t want to cook, I’ll still have healthy homemade meals to eat. After this week, I won’t cook quite that much, but every time I do, I’ll cook too much and freeze the extra. That way, I’ll always be set. Anyone else relying on healthy meal prepping this year?

    This week, I ate oranges for my dessert instead of sugary baked things or candies. I’m trying to cut down on sugar by a lot. I ate mountains of sugar over the holidays. I need to reset.

    This is great! I’ll keep going with this too.

    I like the idea of prepping meals that are homemade and full of vegetables and good proteins. I need to eat more non-meat proteins too so that’ll help to motivate me.

    Oranges for dessert is also a good idea. I need to get back to eating less sugar too. Thanks for the reminder. I’m not the biggest fan of oranges so I’ll focus on strawberries and things like that instead. Great idea!

    I’ve started eating a fruit with every breakfast and a green veggie with every lunch. With those rules, I just do it more naturally and then I know I’ve got at least those two things in my system even before dinner.  It doesn’t mean that’s the only thing I’ll have with my breakfast and lunch but it’s a foundation.
