My feet are fine for the most part but if I have to walk or stand for a very long time – more than a couple of hours at a time – they hurt a lot and can even keep me awake at night. Do I need orthotics? Are they worth it? It only happens once per week or less.

IMO, definitely. If you’re having problems with your feet, hips, knees, ankles, etc, they can make a difference. Just make sure you start shopping for shoes that the insoles come out from now on, so you can get the custom ones in. You might even find out you’ve been wearing the wrong shoe size all along. Not uncommon for that to happen.

If you need them, they can be game changers. Follow the instructions for getting used to them CAREFULLY. YOu need to transition into them or you’ll do more harm than good. And they won’t feel comfortable at first, but then they’ll be everything!!!

You might or might not need them. ask a good podiatrist, not just some store that sells them and is all about insole sales. Make sure to follow the directions to get used to them. That’s very important because you’ll just hurt yourself otherwise.
