I have recently hurt one of my knees and I’ve found that I can’t do any of the old workouts that I had been doing until it heals up. Since I will likely be only swimming one time per week and doing things like limited pilates and yoga for the rest of the time, I’m depending more on what I’m eating that what I’m doing to lose the weight. Is this going to work for me? Is it possible to lose weight even if you barely exercise? I’m really upset about this. I’d been doing very well and now i”m afraid all my muscle is going to turn into fat and I’ll lose all my progress.
It’s probably best that you just take it easy and keep up the workouts you can do without straining your knee. As much floor work and swimming as possible is probably best. Have you got a knee brace? If the injury isn’t ba,d, you might be able to talk to your doctor about gentle walks with a brace and that sort of thing.
