Summer is really hot this year. Are there any good exercises that won’t burn me up? Other than swimming?
You can always just walk or jog first thing in the morning or later in the evening after it cools down. That way you can do your normal exercise without suffering the heat.
You could always do power yoga in air conditioning.
Head out on your bike in the morning. Even on a day when it starts getting hot pretty quickly, the breeze you’ll get will keep you cool enough while you drink water. Just don’t wait until the sun is at its hottest and there’s no shade.
Sounds like you’re getting the hang of it now. The bike in the morning was a good idea! I think pretty much evertyhing just depends on how you’re dressed, what time of day it is, your hydration, and how you’re feeling. You really do need to know when to head inside where it’s cool.
