If I want to skip my walk and swim instead, how many laps do I have to do? I usually walk a for about a half hour at a good pace of around 3.5 miles per hour.

If you’re going at a fast pace, maybe 2/3 as long as you’d normally walk would be my guess. I’m not sure. I’d guess that though.

Just keep going until you feel the same way from swimming as you would from walking. If you have a waterproof fitness tracker, you can pay attention to your heart rate, calorie burning, etc. Just keep going until your results look similar. It’d be different for everyone, but that’ll help you get to know how the two workouts compare for you.

Thanks. I had a feeling it would be more complicated than just giving me a number. Hopefully I’ll figure out something similar.
