    I have a knot in my back behind my left shoulder blade. It’s one that feels like it should stretch or pop, but it doesn’t. It just hurts. Any advice? It’s not horrible but it’s so annoying.

    Ow! Ya, it feels like you should stretch them out, but don’t. If you’re 100% sure it’s a knot, apply heat to ease it. GENTLY stretch it a little bit after you’ve applied heat. do that a few times a day. Don’t push it. Better to do too little than too much. It’ll ease off on its own. It just sucks until it does.

    Hot water bottle, warm showers, and stretch it extremely gently.  Don’t try to actually pop it or stretch it out.  It’s a nuisance but it will go away on its own. It will be worse if you try to work it out like that.

    Thank you! It did end up feeling better.  Using hot showers and a headache pill helped it out. Stretching didn’t seem to do anything good, so I just laid off it for a bit. It was pretty much gone in around 2 days. I can barely feel it now. Thanks again!
