I’m trying to control what I eat and also exercise regularly, but the more I exercise, the more I am hungry. How can I avoid overeating whenever I exercise?

I get that too. I find that if I make sure I stay hydrated and I plan a post-workout snack in advance, I can keep it under control. Instead of snacking before, I snack after. Something like a big apple will go a long way to tide me over until a meal.

yeah, plan your snack after. Don’t fall for the smoothie bar at your gym if that’s where you’re exercising. You’ll get way too many calories. And they cost way too much.

Thanks! I’ve started having a snack ready for after and that’s really made a difference. The other thing I’ve found made a difference, weirdly, is drinking water before and during my workout. Turns out that dehydration was a part of it. So with water and the snack, it’s making so much of a difference. Thank you!

That’s great that it worked for you! I also recently found that if I exercise first thing in the morning, I don’t have any extra hunger throughout the day. I hope that helps too!

Glad to hear it’s working for you. That’s a big hurdle to get over.
