If I go for a run every morning, a half hour walk (brisk) every afternoon, and do another workout later in the afternoon/early evening like 15 minutes of another cardio workout or some strength training, do I really need to keep counting calories provided I’m paying attention to what I eat and am careful overall?
I think calorie counting is just a good idea. Even if you can’t do it every single day, try to do it as much as you can. It keeps your mind on the right track.
Maybe not for the first while. Even if you track just during weekdays or something like that, it makes a big difference. Find an app that is really fast and easy for tracking and use that. make it as simple as possible. It helps.
I think calorie counting is a very helpful thing to do. I think no matter what the rest of your strategy is, tracking your food and paying attention to your calories, nutrition, macro balance, is a good idea, even if you’re not strict about any one factor.
