    I’m findign that a lot of my meals are pulling down my energy levels instead of boosting me up. Does digestion make people tired or am I eating the wrong foods? It’s making it impossible to want to exercise.

    Digestion can make you tired.  Are you eating a lot of processed stuff? Are you cutting too many carbs?

    If you’re eating heavy meals or if you’re eating too much then it will likely pull down your energy.  Like Penny said, you need to make sure there are some good carbs in there even if you’re not eating too many carbs.

    are you getting enough water? Are you stressed? Those could make it so that your eating actually takes a toll on your energy levels.

    Maybe you’re not sleeping enough. I find that if I’m not quite getting enough sleep, every little thing drains me, including eating.

    That’s a good point.  Water and adequate rest also have a lot to do with how awake you’re feeling and how tired you’ll be from digesting your meals.

    Thanks, I find that when my water is low, I’m surprisingly sluggish
