my shoulders and shoulderblades feel extremely tired and stiff after I run. It’s like my arms are too heavy. Is that a normal thing? It gets better pretty fast after I sit down for a bit, but it’s pretty uncomfortable for a bit and makes me feel more tired than I am.

Sounds like it could be an issue with your form. Are you running with your shoulders relaxed and your elbows bent at a 90 degree angle? Are you making sure that you’re not leaning forward too much but that you’re also not forcing yourself to be ramrod straight as you run? Could be form. Check into proper running form and compare how you’ve been doing it. I hope that solves it for you. Sounds very uncomfortable.

I thought I was running with good form. Ill look it up and make sure. Thanks. It’s still happening so I really hope I can stop it.

Doing any better now? that sounds really painful and unpleasant? Still running?

It’s doing better now. I took a couple of days off just for some yoga and I looked into running form. Looks like I was leaning forward too much and not bending my arms enough. I’ve started correcting for that and there’s a difference. My shoulders and even my back a bit are still slightly achy by the end of my run but it’s not nearly as bad. I might see if I can talk to my doctor or a physical trainer or someone like that to critique my running style. I’m not sure if I’m still doing something wrong, if something is wrong with me, or if I’m just pushing myself too hard in the winter weather.
Thanks so much for the supportive comments!
