My eye has been twitching since the end of november. It happens all the time throughout the day. It’s not constant, in that there are pauses in it, but it just keeps coming back. Lately, it’s even more severe and the twitches are so distracting that I will lose my train of thought if I’m speaking. I can’t really see any of it in the mirror and it’s not changing my vision, but it’s so annoying. Why is this happening?

A month sounds like a long time. Maybe talk to your doctor? I get a twitchy eye but only for a day or so.  I thought it was from being tired, stressed, and having too much caffeine. Those things a problem for you more than normal right now?

OMG since november? Get taht checked! It’s probably nothing, but at least find out how to stop it right away!

I’ll try cutting down on caffeine. If that doesn’t work, I’ll bite the bullet and go to my doctor. Seems like such a silly thing to see a doctor for, but it really needs to go away now.

I hope you’ll update. I’m interested to know how you get it to stop. I hope the caffeine reduction does it.

I’ll update. For now, I’ve cut my caffeine in half and it’s not as bad as it used to be. It’s still there, but it’s off and on, instead of nearly all the time.  It’s a lot better. I’m going to keep easing off caffeine until i’m not taking it anymore and hopefully I’ll figure out how to get more sleep.

Have you tried yoga? Relaxation/calming yoga might help. It’ll relax your muscles including those on your face, just as it helps with stress control.
